- The Madrid-based pianist, composer and producer will release his debut for the label this winter.
Earlier today, Levon Vincent announced on Facebook that he's signed Eric Maltz to Novel Sound.
Not much is known about Maltz, but his Facebook page describes him as "a pianist and composer writing experimental music, soundscapes for artists, compositions for chefs and live performances." He moved to Madrid from Brooklyn, and is engaged in projects combining gastronomy with music alongside his wife, the chef Mónica Kisic. The announcement seems to imply that Maltz's release, due this winter, will be the label's first record that doesn't involve Vincent, though a Jus-Ed track appeared on NS-01, These Games, and last year's NS-10 T. Rex Edition featured a collaboration with Marcel Dettmann.
