Le Tigre have reunited for a new song.
The news came via frontwoman Kathleen Hanna, who was recording a podcast for The Talkhouse to discuss reuniting her band The Julie Ruin. As Brooklyn Vegan reports, Hanna said that the electroclash trio—which also boasts JD Samson and Johanna Fateman as members—had just been in the studio recording a "special song" planned for release in October. She added that the band does not have any plans for a tour or album, and that the single will be a one-off.
