  • Daniel Bell will headline an Acid Camp event marking two decades of John Tejada's Palette Recordings on November 6th. Tejada, an LA mainstay, started the label in the mid-90s, before a run of five EPs for Bell's 7th City label. (Those were eventually reissued on Palette.) The two have worked closely together since, with Tejada playing drums for the Detroit techno artist's live shows lately. While Bell has released on Palette alongside other well-established Midwest producers like Titonton Duvante and Dan Curtin, the label is mostly focused on releasing Tejada's own music, along with productions from a core stable of Arian Leviste, Justin Maxwell and Josh Humphrey. Leviste will also spin at Acid Camp on the 6th, with Daniel Troberg rounding out the bill. It's Tejada's second appearance at Acid Camp, and you can listen to a live recording of that set.
