  • The next Mysteries Of The Deep event will go down at 315 Ten Eyck on Friday, October 14th. The music series tends towards the darker shades of experimental and ambient music, with a special emphasis on live performances and audiovisual pairings. Top billing for this month's lineup goes to Antenes, AKA Lori Napolean, a local producer who's also known for building synths out of vintage telephone equipment. (Her set at Sustain-Release this year scored high praises from RA's Patric Fallon.) Joining her is Mark Verbos, another synth builder and longtime techno producer with a discography that stretches back to the early '90s (his most recent was a four-track EP for The Bunker last summer). Clinker and Abby Echiverri are booked for audiovisual sets as well, while Bunker resident Patrick Russell will DJ alongside Mysteries Of The Deep founder Grant Aaron. Check out Antenes' track "The Track Of A Storm," which came out on L.I.E.S. last year.
Tickets for this event are available here on RA.
