  • Pantha Du Prince's North American tour, originally set to begin this past Wednesday, has been cancelled. The German artist, who released his latest album, The Triad, on Rough Trade back in May, took to Facebook to report on the cancellation. The tour was scheduled to hit New York, Chicago, DC, Los Angeles, Denver and other major North American cities. The producer, real name Hendrik Weber, isn't the only artist to have trouble with the US visa process lately. Scuba was forced to cancel a Chicago date last month and Andrew Weatherall had to pull the plug on a highly anticipated US tour back in February. Read Weber's statement in full.
Dear fans and friends in North America. This time my team and me had a tough process to get my artist visa issued by the US officials. I'm very sorry to tell you the visa will not be ready for the upcoming concerts. As I will not be able to enter the USA without it, we have to acncel the North America tour, we hope to reschedule the routing for next year. Please be patient. Of course you will be reimbursed for your presale tickets. Peace and happiness to all of you! Endless love, Hendrik.
