Mathew Jonson, Hreno and The Mole are putting out their first record as Units And Measurements on November 11th.
The Canadian trio debuted their new project with a live performance for RA Sessions back in September, with the promise of a new album later in the fall. Now they've come forward with the details of that record: it'll come via Deadbeat's BLKRTZ label, and it's a double LP. The self-titled album is the product of a marathon 24-hour recording session at Jonson's studio in Berlin (which you can read more about here), with the group touching on both "the headiest ambient and tunneling hypnotic techno to be found in any of their... individual back catalogues," according to the press release.
