  • Carsten Jost will release a new album, Perishable Tactics, next January. David Lieske is one of the co-founders of esteemed Hamburg label Dial, and he's been releasing music as Carsten Jost since 2000. He hasn't had a solo record under that name since 2007, however. His last full-length, You Don't Need A Weatherman To Know Which Way The Wind Blows, came out all the way back in 2001. Perishable Tactics is something of a hodgepodge, comprising new tracks alongside both sides of his last single, 2007's Atlantis I & II, plus "Love," which is taken from a split 12-inch with Efdemin the same year. The intro and outro come from Lieske's band Misanthrope CA, who also released an LP on Dial this year. Listen to "Army Green" courtesy of Inverted Audio.
