- Due out next month, the Bristol duo's instalment features more than a dozen unreleased tracks.
- Kahn & Neek's Fabriclive 90 mix will come out on November 18th. The two Bristolians first linked up in 2006 to throw a series of underground parties that united grime, dubstep and reggae. Since then they've appeared on long-standing bass music labels like Tectonic, Deep Medi and Keysound Recordings, as well as their own outlet, Bandulu. The duo's mix for the esteemed Fabriclive series—the first since fabric closed last month—includes cuts from The Bug, Commodo and Gantz, as well as fellow members of Bristol's Young Echo collective like Jabu and Rider Shafique. The CD also includes 14 unreleased tracks that are exclusive to the mix. "Certain sections stick to a traditional DJ mix but it also moves outside of what we would usually play in a club setting," said the duo. "This has allowed us to craft the mix into a richer offering, showcasing music from other projects we’re involved in outside of Kahn & Neek." They'll hit the road for a slew of tour dates in the next few months, starting with three in Australia and two in New Zealand. In November they'll travel to California for two shows, followed by a stop at Mexico's new Fascinoma festival.
