Rashad Becker is releasing a new album.
As the name implies, Traditional Music Of Notional Species Vol. II is the follow-up to 2013's Traditional Music Of Notional Species Vol. I, an LP marked by its unusual synthesis techniques and uncanny, organic sounds. According to PAN, the new volume has more "instrumental-sounding components" than its predecessor. The Dubplates & Mastering engineer recently performed with Moritz von Oswald at Berlin Atonal and Semibreve Festival, and also contributed to the Terepa EP for Nicolas Jaar's Other People label back in 2015.
