- Midnight Shift will release the LP later this month.
Midnight Shift is putting out a tribute to the late producer Andreas Gehm.
Gehm, a German artist, was a noted fan of acid house and a prolific producer over the last few years. He released for labels like Solar One, Chiwax, Mathematics and Midnight Shift, before he died earlier this year as a result of undisclosed health problems. The new compilation pays homage to Gehm's love of acid, and all proceeds will go towards funding his post-mortem affairs. It features artists who were reportedly influenced by Gehm's work, including Basic Soul Unit, KiNK, Marco Bernardi and Rivet, Tzusing and Umwelt. The digital version will arrive on November 25th, with a vinyl edition following next spring.
