Special International guest Dimitri from Paris, and local DJ’s Ajax and Dangerous Dan provided the tunes for the evening, which was the perfect backdrop to the beautiful set-up at the club. Blue Butterfly stickers adorned champagne flutes and guests, while Artists’ names from the CD were projected onto the walls throughout the club. Real life blue butterflies flew around in large cylinder tanks placed on the bar, while over 800 guests partied late into the night.
Described by Jam recordings the CD “...is modelled on Australia’s number one bar in Sydney is a collection of quality down-tempo tracks from around the globe. A hybrid of laidback nu-jazz, soul, nu-beat and deep house, hemmesphere one will sit neatly in any CD collection between the likes of Café Del Mar and Rebirth of Cool.”
Look out for this release on July 21 in local record stores, and fingers crossed there will be a party just as bold and beautiful for ‘hemmesphere two’.
