  • The next Shuffle Co-Op party will go down on December 2nd at F8 in San Francisco. For this one, the Bay Area-based promoters are bringing in Patrick Russell, a staple member of the No Way Back crew that includes Erika, BMG and Mike Servito. He recently ran over his long-cultivated love for records, acid and Detroit music as part of our Art Of DJing feature. Though he cut his teeth in Detroit, Russell now resides in New York where Phil Moffa serves as a low-key lynchpin of a scene that includes the likes of DJ Spider and Anthony Parasole. Moffa has collaborated with both of those producers on various EPs and also worked with Seth Troxler on a Hypercolour 12-inch last year. He'll play live in San Francisco. At the F8 party, the New Yorkers will be supported by The Shuffle Co-Op residents Petko Nikolov, Max Gardner and Alex Lin. Listen to a recent Patrick Russell podcast for The Bunker New York.
