The trio's self-titled record will come out on Modeselektor's label next January.
The Berlin-based trio of Felix Wagner, Aaron Röbig and Kevin Kozicki have been making hardware-based techno together for a few years now, releasing a few EPs before landing on Modeselektor's 50 Weapons label in 2014. They were a staple of that label's last two years, before its closure in 2015, and now they're moving onto the German duo's main imprint, Monkeytown, for their debut album. The label says the LP "combines the energetic peak-time sound of the Berlin-based trio's acclaimed techno singles... with sophisticated breakbeat arrangements and atmospherically dense ambient textures." It features collaborations with Modeselektor and Rødhåd, and a new version of 50 Weapons single "Gewerbe 15."
