Serato users can now select tracks without consulting a computer.
Users of the audio file control software can now connect their laptop to a Pioneer DJ DJM-900NXS2 and mix with control discs on turntables or media players via the mixer's DVS function. The mixer can also act as a record output for Serato DJ thanks to its soundcards. Using its USB-HID feature, the CDJ-2000NXS2 can also function as a controller for Serato DJ without the need for a control CD. The display on the player will show track information and waveforms, meaning users don't need to refer to their computer when selecting tracks. Serato users will need to update to version 1.9.5 to access the new features.
