- The DJ and producer has dedicated the recognition to those who have "followed, supported and helped" him during his 30-year career.
Laurent Garnier has been awarded the French Legion Of Honour.
The Legion Of Honour is the highest award dished out by the French government. Garnier, who remains one of France's most respected and influential DJs, has been recognised for his services to music. He wrote in a Facebook post that he was "deeply touched" by the award, and dedicated it to the people who have "followed, supported and helped" him during his three-decade career.
