- Angelo Badalamenti's classic score will arrive on red wax this month.
Death Waltz Recording Company will reissue a double-vinyl version of the score to David Lynch's 1992 film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me on January 25th.
US composer and longtime David Lynch collaborator Angelo Badalamenti, who also scored Mulholland Drive and the Twin Peaks series, crafted the influential ambient soundtrack, which appeared on CD, vinyl and cassette in the '90s. The artwork for the upcoming reissue, comprising 12 tracks pressed onto red wax, has been approved by David Lynch and comes with sleeve notes from film critic Mark Kermode. It commemorates the 25th anniversary of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, a poorly received film that, according to The New York Times' Vincent Canby, "glazes the eyes and the mind."
