The Golden Filter will return to Optimo Music with a new album called Still // Alone.
Due out on February 24th, Still // Alone sees The Golden Filter back on Optimo Music after releasing their PSII03 EP in 2015. Still // Alone comprises nine tracks recorded after relocating to London from New York and 18 months of touring.
The Golden Filter, AKA Penelope Trappes and Stephen Hindman, emerged during the nu-disco boom of the late '00s, and have released a string of records on labels such as Brille Records and Dummy Records that explore a sunny and melodic sound crafted with analogue synthesisers and drum machines.
