  • Rush Hour has announced details of a new EP from N.A.D. titled New Aural Discourse—the first full release from the alias in 27 years. N.A.D. is a somewhat obscure UK techno and deep house project from Mustafa Ali, AKA L.E. Bass, that's also connected to Tony Thorpe. In 1990, Ali released the N.A.D. album Dawn Of A New Age through Thorpe's short-lived BPM label, and the alias has been mostly silent since, save for a few one-offs and Rush Hour's expanded reissue of Dawn Of A New Age four years ago. Now Ali and Thorpe are teaming with the Dutch label to release New Aural Discourse. (Both producers are credited on the EP.) We're promised "four fresh, futuristic and far-sighted British takes on Detroit techno" when the record arrives in late February. Listen to EP snippets.
