  • Munich venue Die Registratur has closed. The 300-capacity space, located on Muellerstrasse in Glockenbach, had been running for two years. In the promo text for Saturday's residents-only closing party, the club blames ongoing disputes with neighbours for the closure. Open Friday through Sunday, Die Registratur also served food, and recent guest DJs included Jennifer Cardini, Benjamin Fröhlich and Roland Appel. It's not all bad news, though—the venue's management says they will be back with a new venture "in the near future." The Glockenbach area Die Registratur called home is known for its bars, cafes and restaurants and nightlife, and has seen rents rise in recent years. Read an excerpt from the club's statement.
Dear guests and friends of Die Registratur, Due to ongoing conflicts with our neighbours, Die Registratur will no longer exist in its Muellerstrasse form. We would like to thank our guests for the many wonderful moments and their numerous visits to the bar. We would like to thank all our employees who have accompanied the project in the past two years. We will be reinventing ourselves in the near future. We will keep you posted.
