The Swedish producer's latest LP features a collaboration with Yung Lean.
Swedish producer Varg, real name Jonas Rönnberg, kicked off his Nordic Flora Series in December with Heroine, an RA-recommended EP for Northern Electronics. He quickly followed that up with the three-cassette box set En Ros Röd Som Blod, which came out on Copenhagen label Posh Isolation.
This year, we're told, the like-minded imprints (who've collaborated in the past) will release more works from the series in "voluminous formats both conventional and novel." Its third transmission, Gore-Tex City, comes out in March on double-vinyl and digital formats. The 13-track album includes six collaborations which feature a wide range of artists, such as Drew McDowall, Alessandro Cortini, Matti Bye, Yung Lean and AnnaMelina.
Watch a video for the album's first track, "Champagne Ceremonies," directed by Paps Loco for Nowness.
