Mount Analog will co-release a limited art edition of the set and throw an afterparty featuring SOPHIE, Yves Tumor and Marie Davidson.
PAN will release an ambient compilation called Mono No Aware at the Los Angeles Art Book Fair in late February.
The fair, organized by Printed Matter, goes down at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in LA's Little Tokyo, drawing 250 exhibitors and around 25,000 attendees. PAN and Mount Analog will table at the fair and plan to release a limited-to-100 exclusive version of Mono No Aware at the event. The collection features Yves Tumor, James K., M.E.S.H., TCF, ADR (Aaron David Ross), PAN boss Bill Kouligas, Pan Daijing, SKY H1 and others.
Mount Analog will also throw a couple of events in conjunction with the fair, which draws visitors and participants from around the world. The official afterparty happens at Downtown's Regent Theater on February 25th. It's headlined by Against All Logic, a dance floor-leaning alias of a popular NYC producer. SOPHIE, Warp Records act GAIKA, artist and DJ Juliana Huxtable, Canadian minimal synth revivalist Marie Davidson and Kouligas are also set to play. Cooper Saver and rising Arizona DJ Jock Club will open the night with a back-to-back set.
The Highland Park record shop, distributor and agency also plans for an exclusive engagement with west side art film institution Cinefamily earlier in the week, with details on that to be announced soon.
