- Sónar has announced some artists playing its first event in Hong Kong, which is happening on April 1st. DJ Shadow, Gilles Peterson, Dave Clarke, Lady Leshurr, Ellen Allien, Clark, Kingdom and Evian Christ have all been confirmed for the one-day event, which is taking place across six stages at Hong Kong Science Park. The music will be complemented by a Sónar+D creative technology programme. Sónar has other upcoming satellite events in Reykjavik and Istanbul. Palmbomen II is among the final batch of artists for the Icelandic festival, which is going down from February 16th through 18th. The first Istanbul edition is scheduled for March 24th and 25th. Resident Advisor will host a stage at the flagship Barcelona edition of Sónar Festival on June 17th.
