Luke Vibert is putting out a new album.
Luke Vibert Presents UK Garave Vol. 1, a sample-heavy tribute to rave's heyday, will be the Cornish producer's third album for Hypercolour, who released Ridmik in 2014 and another album under Vibert's Kerrier District alias the following year. This latest full-length is described as an "ode to the era of M25 convoys, mobile phone hotlines and raving amonst dogs on strings in British aerodrome fields." Previous albums from Vibert, who's been releasing music for more than two decades under various aliases, have emerged on Warp Records, Rephlex, Mo Wax and Planet Mu. The album is out May 5th.
