Gorillaz will perform at the Festival d'été de Quebec on Saturday, July 15th.
The Canadian gig is scheduled for a couple months after the release of their new album, Humanz. Last week they confirmed all the details of the new record, which is stacked with high-profile features from the likes of Grace Jones, Kelela, Peven Everett and Jamie Principle. They performed Humanz for the first time in London last Friday, bringing out album guests like Danny Brown and Pusha T throughout the show.
There will also be a new Gorillaz-backed festival called Demon Dayz taking place in Margate, England this summer, about a month before their Quebec City gig, though the lineup for that hasn't been announced.
