Sadar Bahar and Cosmic Force ready 12-inch for Rush Hour

- We Are Righteous People will be released under the name Ben & Sadar's this May.
- Sadar Bahar and Ben Spaander, AKA Cosmic Force, will release a two-track single as Ben & Sadar's in Rush Hour's Store Jams series on May 1st. According to the label, the new project came about by accident after Bahar visited the Utrecht studio of Spaander, a Dutch electro veteran with a 60-strong collection of synths. "Ben was charmed by the electronic elements in Sadar's funk and Sadar loved Ben's ideas," they say. The resulting record contains two sample-free, disco-funk jams that incorporate live bass, guitar and sax parts, and "pounding drum programming." Bahar will play the second night of Rush Hour's Weekender in Amsterdam on April 1st, appearing alongside Hieroglyphic Being and Jordan GCZ at OT301. Listen to Bahar's RA Podcast from 2016.
