- Fans in New York got a glimpse of the band's forthcoming album.
LCD Soundsystem performed new songs last night.
The new tracks were played during the encore of the group's first set of a five-night residency going down at New York venue Brooklyn Steel. According to photos taken of the setlist, the new songs are called "American Dream," "Call Police" and "Tonight." The band requested that no footage be filmed of songs new and old during the performance, describing it as "a real gutpunch." It follows the recent announcement that the band's forthcoming comeback album is almost finished.
