- The Ilian Tape bosses ready their first record together in nearly two years.
A new Zenker Brothers EP is due to land on the German techno duo's Ilian Tape label later this month.
The Schyren will be the first full release from Dario and Marco Zenker's pairing since 2015, when they put out an EP on Index Marcel Fengler, and the RA-recommended Immersion LP on Ilian Tape. (Immersion earned a spot in our list of that year's top albums.) The brothers describe this set of three broken-beat cuts, also coming through their own label, as having "theatrical loose Munich vibrations."
Ilian Tape marked a decade in business earlier this year with a triple-vinyl compilation—the Zenker Brothers have also taken the anniversary celebration on tour. More recently, the label issued a new Skee Mask EP.
