  • Len Faki will start two new labels this summer. The Berghain resident launched his Figure label in 2003, and in that time it's become a key outlet for big-room techno. Figure Jams will be a sub-label of Figure, and it'll aim to "bring together artists from a wider network." The first release will be a split EP from Fabrizio Lapiana and Amotik on June 12th. Then, on July 24th, Abstract Division and Patrik Skoog will pair up for Figure Jams 002. The second label, LF RMX, will be a platform for Faki's edits and remixes. It'll launch on July 3rd with two takes on DJ Bone's "Black Patterns," followed by remixes of Stephen Brown's "Deep In" later in the summer. All the proceeds from the label will go to Straßenkinder e.V., a Berlin-based organisation supporting homeless children and child poverty. Listen to clips of Figure Jams 001.
