  • Mahogani Music will issue an Amp Fiddler remix EP later this month. Detroit multi-instrumentalist Joseph "Amp" Fiddler has connected with Mahogani Music and label boss Moodymann on several occasions over the years—in addition to his collaborations with KDJ, he's put out a pair of singles on the imprint using the name Amp Dog Knight. This time, his track "So Sweet" gets a remix from Masters At Work member and recent Grammy nominee Louie Vega, with two reworks of "It's Alright" from Dirt Tech Reck boss Waajeed on the flip. Both original productions appear to be unreleased. The record marks Fiddler's second appearance on a foundational Motor City house label this year—he collaborated with Theo Parrish on Gentrified Love Part 3, which came out through Sound Signature in March. Listen to clips from the upcoming remix EP.
Tracklist A1 So Sweet (Louie Vega remix) B1 It's Alright (Waajeed's Conant Gardens Remix) B2 It's Alright (Waajeed's Instrumental) Mahogani Music will release So Sweet / It's Alright Remixes on June 19th, 2017.
