- The Irish producer is back with an LP's worth of hyperactive electronic pop.
Iglooghost's debut album will come out on Brainfeeder next month.
Neo Wax Bloom lands two years after he debuted on Flying Lotus's label with the Chinese Nü Yr EP. It expands on the conceptual backstory that's spanned most of his catalogue, involving a fantastic world called Mamu which is thrown into chaos when hit by two giant eyeballs from space.
The label calls the LP "typically intense, hysterical, borderline batshit crazy," and the first single, "Bug Thief," incorporates elements of IDM, J-pop and dancehall. It features return collaborators Mr. Yote and Cuushe, and the vinyl version includes a 12-page comic booklet and character sticker sheet.
