- The Japanese artist's next LP, out in October, includes a tribute to Mika Vainio.
NHK yx Koyxen has signed to DFA Records for an album titled Exit Entrance.
The album, which is coming out on October 6th, marks Kohei Matsunaga's first appearance on the New York label. He forgoes his usual number-focused track titles, and there's one tune, called "Outset," that's dedicated to his friend and collaborator Mika Vainio, who died while the album was being recorded.
Matsunaga has been releasing music since 1997, with records on labels like Mille Plateaux, Important, PAN, L.I.E.S. and Diagonal.
