- Fables Of Robotics focuses on two of the Swiss artist's monikers: Bigeneric and Planet Love.
Slow Life is preparing to release a vinyl double-pack of material from Marco Repetto called Fables Of Robotics.
The eight-track set rounds up music from Bigeneric and Planet Love, two of the Swiss artist's aliases. Due out in September, it includes a mix of unreleased material as well as tracks that were never pressed to vinyl. Repetto began his career in the '70s playing drums in a punk band, then turned to electronic music in the late '80s after a successful stint with his new wave group, Grauzone. He's produced a wide range of techno, house, IDM and ambient music in the last thirty years.
We recently heard from Repetto by way of Uncoded Signals From Axodya, a Bigeneric 12-inch with tracks from the '90s that came out a couple months ago.
Fables Of Robotics is the 12th release for Slow Life, a Berlin-based label collective who we profiled early last year. It follows an album from Ethereal Logic, AKA S. Moreira and Santi Uribe, that came out a few weeks ago.
Listen to previews of the upcoming double-pack.
