  • Melbourne artist Kirkis will release his first album, Vide, on his own MODED label in October. The multi-instrumentalist, real name Matthew Kirkis, had a breakthrough last year with his second release on Sam Shepherd's Eglo Records, which lead to him joining the Floating Points live band. He also played guitar and synths on June's Reflections - Mojave Desert short film and soundtrack. His 13-track debut album will serve as the first release on his MODED imprint and will be released on limited vinyl via his Bandcamp as well as digitally. Watch the clip for "Finally," the first single from the album, which is about the 1990 Strangeways prison riots in Manchester.
