The 'Godfather of House', Frankie Knuckles, has been booked for the upcoming 2nd birthday party for City Loud at Turnmills. This will be Frankie's only UK gig for this year so catching him at one of London's best clubs is essential. Frankie is widely known for playing very special sets and this party will no different as he will be at the helm for 5 hours exclusively.
Frankie says, "I experience a spiritual feeling every time I play. I think that's the reason why I probably feel that I'm the most fortunate DJ, because I get the kind of audience that knows exactly who I am musically and exactly what they're going to get."
City Loud's main resident CJ Mackintosh, who has been there from the start, will be alongside the veteran house DJ. Commenting on the party "Having Frankie Knuckles play at City Loud on our 2nd birthday is an honor to say the least. I can't believe we're 2 years old already. and I can't believe how old I am already too!! We've had such an amazing year at City Loud and we're now looking to build on that success for the next 12 months with some truly mind-blowing line-ups and musical concepts."
