Sassy J and Bradley Zero will also play at the Perth, Melbourne and Sydney festivals this New Year's period.
Australian festival Freedom Time will return this New Year's, with Larry Heard headlining three dates around the country.
The roaming event run by Crown Ruler is gearing up for its fifth edition, returning to Perth and Melbourne on December 31st and January 1st respectively, before debuting in Sydney on January 7th. Heard—who visited Australia in 2016 for the first time in his career—will be joined at all three shows by Swiss selector Sassy J, Rhythm Section fboss Bradley Zero and Jamaican reggae and dancehall icon Johnny Osbourne.
The Perth leg, which is taking place at a car park in Northbridge, will feature local heads Phil Stroud, Methods, Guy Contact and Manchild across three stages, plus Rhythm Section artists Silentjay & Jace XL, who join all three dates of the tour. Melbourne's outing at a four-stage Coburg Velodrome build includes sets from CC:DISCO, Krakatau, Wax'o Paradiso and Prequel, as well as Harvey Sutherland who teams up with revered disco vocalist Leroy Burgess. The pair will also play the Sydney event at Manning Bar, sharing the bill with Jonti, Ben Fester, Simon Caldwell and Rimbombo over several indoor and outdoor areas.
