Life And Death is releasing the first in a new compilation series, Displaced Soundtracks, on November 3rd.
As the title implies, Life And Death says the LP "gathers music from a long-aborted film." Label owner DJ Tennis encouraged the producers "to display their hidden talents as composers," with the resulting music encompassing ambient, library music, post-punk and gospel house, according to the label. Displaced Soundtracks features a number of label alumni as well as new signings, including KiNK, Simian Mobile Disco, Appleblim, Redshape, Axel Boman, Danny Daze and Stimming.
