If it's time you had a change of scenery from the usual clubs and DJs, look no further than Bar Open this Friday 26th of September. Playing live will be Maximus Bouffantus, a Melbourne based band who play a style of electronic, hip hop and disco, with a blend of old school rock and funk. The Maximus Bouffantus live line-up consists of drums, percussion, bass, guitar, samplers and DJ Kuya, (1999 Aust ITF DJ Champion, 1998 and 2000 Vic DMC DJ Champion) sitting in on decks! Catch the band from 10pm in the upstairs room.
The get the vibe happening and open proceedings, CasioNova will be playing from 9.30pm. Do you remember your Casio home keyboard fondly? We can all be stars with the help of home electronics from the eighties. CasioNova demonstrates how, with much humour, tales of love, slides, guest musicians, gratuitous stunts and too many references to Finland.
