- The San Francisco label will revive '80s tracks from Fockewulf 190, Mono Band and Fantasy Life this month.
Dark Entries has announced the next three records in its Italo-focused Editions series.
First up is Body Heat, a 1983 single from the John Foxx-influenced Milanese group Fockewulf 190. The well-known Italo figure Fred Ventura lent his vocals for the tune, penning lyrics that were "inspired by living in a world divided in East and West, the Cold War, terrorism and street violence," according to Dark Entries.
February also sees Josh Cheon's label repackage the 1984 Ghost Town 12-inch from Mono Band, a project that split the difference between Italo disco and dark new wave. Dark Entries wraps up its February releases with Fantasy Life's Over And Over, a highly coveted single from a one-off studio group comprising Lorenzo Avico, Maurizio Camoletto and Sergio Bergamin.
The new Dark Entries Editions records hit shelves later this month following the label's 200th release, a new album from Bézier.
