The Croatian festival's vinyl wing kicks off in May with an EP from a longtime favorite.
First as The Garden than as Love International, Nick Colgan and Dave Harvey's sun-soaked Tisno event has long been a favourite of the burgeoning Croatian summer festival scene. The new label aims to "encapsulate the range of music the festival's secluded party paradise has become renowned for... from the Balearic tinges of this first release, to the meatier house, techno and electro selection on show at [Love International's club] Barbarella's."
That first release comes from Begin, AKA James Holroyd, one of the first guest DJs at the Garden festival's original site in Petrčane. Holroyd's also served as the Chemical Brothers' tour DJ, a resident of Leeds party Back To Basics and co-founder and resident of the influential Bugged Out parties. Harvey describes him as "an absolute workhorse in dance music for time."
For the third year running, Resident Advisor will host a party at Love International, featuring Hunee, Gideon and Josey Rebelle.
