Imaabs is putting out his first album this week.
Discretización is a self-released affair comprising ten new tracks. According to text accompanying the album, its title refers the reduction of people and places to algorithms, inspired by the works of Jacques Derrida and Bernard Stiegler. (You can read a more detailed explanation here). Its the Chilean artist's first release of the year, following appearances on labels like NAAFI, Infinite Machine (both previous Resident Advisor label of the month feature stars) and PTP.
