  • Oneohtrix Point Never has revealed more about the making of his forthcoming album, Age Of. In an interview with Red Bull Radio's Vivian Host, OPN, real name Daniel Lopatin, speaks about Age Of and his upcoming MYRIAD performances. He says Age Of collaborators include Kelsey Lu, Prurient, ANOHNI (who provides vocals on "Black Snow") and PAN affiliate Eli Keszler. Lopatin also worked with James Blake, who was brought in as a producer to help finish the record. "I was like, 'James, check out these tunes. This is my new record. I want to finish it, but I want to finish it with a musician, a producer, and not necessarily an engineer. What do you think?' Because he'd mixed stuff," Lopatin says. "[James] got back to me within a day or two and said, 'I can start on Monday.'" OPN also reveals that bits of demos he made for Usher, as well as elements of his collaborations with ANOHNI and FKA Twigs, were used in the making of Age Of. Listen to the full interview.
