Varg, AKA Jonas Rönnberg, is releasing his next album on June 22nd.
Nordic Flora Series Pt. 5: Crush is apparently the "beginning of the end" for the series, says label Posh Isolation, which is releasing the album. (Some previous Nordic Flora instalments came via Northern Electronics.) Described as "an exhilarating maze of fainting beauty and breaks," it features collaborators from past Nordic Flora records like Chloe Wise and AnnaMelina, with artwork from Cali DeWitt. Ecco2k and Vanity Productions also make guest appearances.
Crush follows the RA Recommended album Nordic Flora Series Pt 3: Gore-Tex City, from last year. (The fourth part, called Techno Music, is only available as a tape bundled with Pt. 5 in a limited edition of 100.) Rönnberg also recently announced a new project with AnnaMelina called FLORA, with their first record due out near the end of this month.
