- It's the third name-your-price set of ambient-leaning tracks that Roger Semsroth has posted over the past two months.
Another digital album from Sleeparchive, titled Spring Flowers, has just landed.
Roger Semsroth has kept busy with his best-known alias in 2018. Spring Flowers, recorded over the first two weeks of this month, is the third eight-track Sleeparchive release put out as a name-your-price (or free) download on Bandcamp since the beginning of April. It follows Sleepless (Volume 1) and Snapshots, and like those two sets of tracks, it sees the Copenhagen-based producer—who for years has been best known for crafting bleepy minimalist techno—embrace a subdued, ambient-oriented approach.
Semsroth also just launched a new label platform called NORD VEST, which appears to be the home for at least some of these recent digital efforts. There's yet to be any Sleeparchive material issued on wax this year.
