- The Italian artist's LP, called Born In The Voltage, will be released on the same date as another full-length, in collaboration with ELEH, on Important Records.
Caterina Barbieri will release a new album next month.
Born Again In The Voltage was recorded at Stockholm, Sweden's Elektronmusikstudion over the course of a year and was completed in August 2015. It was made mostly using the Buchla 200 modular synthesiser, but also features cello from Antonello Manzo. (The tracklist is TBC.)
Due out August 10th on Important Records, the LP will be the Italian artist's second full-length after last year's Patterns Of Consciousness. (She also contributed a track to Flowers From The Ashes: Contemporary Italian Electronic Music, a compilation from Lucy's Stroboscopic Artefacts.)
Important Records will release another album, called Split, by Barbieri and longtime label affiliate ELEH, on August 10th.
