- The L.I.E.S. man is back on Hospital Productions with a 13-track LP, out in September.
Ron Morelli will release a new album, Disappearer, this autumn.
For his third full-length, the L.I.E.S. boss is back on Prurient's Hospital Productions, the outlet that's handled most of his solo work. The label says Disappearer is "loosely based around moral codes handed down through generations, reinterpreted, debated and enforced, followed and broken... Who becomes the disappeared and who becomes the disappearer?"
Hospital Productions namechecks The Hague techno and early tape minimalism as musical touchstones for the album, while also saying it contains unexpected vocals and bears the heavy influence of nearly a decade spent circling the European nightclub circuit. The record was mixed and finalized in L.I.E.S. affiliate Krikor Kouchian's Paris studio. It will be available on double-vinyl, cassette and digital from September 21st.
