Kieran Hebden has announced two live shows and two all-nighters at the South London venue in October.
Kieran Hebden is bringing back his autumn Brixton Academy shows this year, announcing two live shows and two all-nighters today on social media. The gigs will take place from Wednesday, October 10th, through Saturday, October 13th, starting with the live performances and closing out the short run with all-night-long DJ parties.
So far, none of the "special guests" teased in the announcement have been revealed, but Hebden promises they'll be "crazy." Past Four Tet all-nighters at Brixton Academy have featured Ben UFO, Joy Orbison, Jamie xx, Floating Points, Daphni and Josey Rebelle.
these nights we do at Brixton are celebrations of the love and peace and joy of all experiencing the music together. And without the show business and money and bullshit. A positive force against the racism and greed we are facing.— Four Tet (@FourTet) August 20, 2018
I went to events the Anti Nazi League put on in Brixton when I was a teenager and it was amazing and powerful. An inspiration to me and very much in my mind as I come back to Brixton in 2018.— Four Tet (@FourTet) August 20, 2018
