Shinichi Atobe is releasing a surprise album on DDS on Friday, September 7th.
Heat arrived on Demdike Stare's desk "on a CD sent by air mail from Japan to Manchester, sparse info, no messing, pure gold," according to the press release.
The LP, which is the mysterious artist's fourth full-length for the label, features seven four-on-the-floor house tracks, which "could have been produced 20 years ago, could have been produced earlier this year—we'll probably never know." It'll be available digitally and on vinyl.
