Put those two names down in your diary if you're a fan of new experiences in music, set in intimate surrounds. The next two Friday's at Weird Gear at Honkytonks could be just what you're looking for.
Lovers of rhythmic techno, or detroit house, are in for a treat this Friday 21 November when local lad Ben Cromack drops in for a turn at the piano.
On Friday 28 November, it's the turn of SWAG, aka Chris Duckenfield and Richard Brown, who'll be playing live on their Dex 'n' Gadgets Tour. Whilst Chris' DJ sets are talked about worldwide, the Dex 'n' Gadgets show adds Richards live loops, affects and beats, taking things to another dimension. Fans of their work through the label Warp, or various remixes for artists such as Bjork, Ian Pooley, Herbert and Blaze should be delighted at this gig!
Support at both gigs will be provided by the Weird Gear residents, Mr Geoffrey who kicks off at 6pm, and Boogs and Mahi. Keep it coming please Honkys!
