  • Varg has released a new digital-only record for those who donate to Save The Children in Yemen. The Swedish artist, real name Jonas Rönnberg, first teased the release on Tuesday, offering it to anyone who emailed proof of donation to him (at [email protected]) with the subject line "Yemen" later in the week. ("No specific sum, spare what you can," he said.) The new release is a six-track mini-album called **** *** ******, with all the track titles in asterisks as well. It features collaborations with AnnaMelina, Jesse Osborne-Lanthier and Vanity Productions. Yemen is currently embroiled in a three-year civil war fought between the Saudi and Western-backed Hadi government and Iran-supported Houthi Rebels that has seen many civilian casualties as well as the looming threat of famine. Artwork that comes with Rönnberg's release states, "In solidarity with Yemen."
