  • Autechre have uploaded 13 hours of video to YouTube. A link to a 444-video playlist was discovered hidden in a period in the "About" section of Autechre's Bleep store late last week. The link appears to have been subsequently removed, but you can view the full playlist below. The videos range from under a minute to around seven minutes long and contain signature Autechre patches matched to imagery recalling the dream sequence from 2001: A Space Odyssey. The web store was also recently used to host links to WeTransfer pages containing backups for Autechre's 2008-era live sets. Each zip folder contained Sysex data for Elektron's Monomachine and Machinedrum, PGM files for MPC and Nord preset data. While you'll need those machines to run the programs, the MPC folder contains sounds that can be used in any DAW or sampler. Autechre released a track called "444" on their 1993 Warp Records debut Incunabula, which was repressed back in 2016 along with Amber and Tri Repetae. Read our review of Autechre's last release, NTS Sessions 1-4. Watch the video playlist.
